What People Are Saying About Palazzo Vecchio
The tablet was clear, but sometimes not in sync with your location. It would have been more fun to use augmented reality to provide the information (especially since the kids these days have Pokémon Go). The weird thing we found, was that it really wasn't that crowded and there we no lines at all.
Our tourguide showed us many interesting details of the Palazzo and told us about a couple stories relating to the city.
This tour was a great way to see the palazzo in a couple of hours, while having time to go back on our own to see some things. The only negative comments I have is that she did not show us the Michelangelo piece in the Hall of 500. We saw it in our guidebook so went back in to see it. She also showed us the copy of the Verocchio statute in the courtyard but told us she would show us the original in the palazzo. We never saw it. She didn't show us, we forgot to remind her and couldn't find it on our own. The last thing is she gave us the story of the Michelangelo vs Leonardo painting to be on the walls of the Hall of 500. She said she would show us drawings based on the Leonardo work, but she didn't show us that either. Again, we forgot to remind her and couldn't find it on our own after we departed. Overall, we enjoyed learning and seeing everything with more of a back story then if we would have went on our own. :)
