We are a very young couple who are interested in history, but have already seen enough of the conventional landmarks. Our guide was a very hard-working and informative history professor, who really peppered each of the stories with interesting details and almost brought the past to life through his stories. In addition, you pass parts of Venice that you would otherwise have overlooked. I can recommend the tour for everyone who wants a little twist on normal sightseeing. :)

Tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about Venice. Two hours isn't enough to take in everything but its a great start. The only thing that would have been appreciated is if the Gondola driver could have offered some information but was just silent the entire ride.

The meeting point is not 100% clear. House number does not match museo correct. That was confusing. Otherwise a great evening with our very nice guide. He speaks perfect German and is very competent. We liked it very much and learned a lot.
