Discover a masterpiece of architecture tucked away off the main streets of Venice and get stunning views with an entrance ticket to the Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo. Get up close to its unique, external multiple arch spiral staircase, known as the "Scala Contarini del Bovolo" ("Of the Snail"). Take a closer look at its remarkable mix of Renaissance, Gothic and Byzantine styles, and then get an impressive view of the city rooftops. Go to the arcade at the top of the stairs and gaze down at the maze of streets and canals.

We are a very young couple who are interested in history, but have already seen enough of the conventional landmarks. Our guide was a very hard-working and informative history professor, who really peppered each of the stories with interesting details and almost brought the past to life through his stories. In addition, you pass parts of Venice that you would otherwise have overlooked. I can recommend the tour for everyone who wants a little twist on normal sightseeing. :)

The meeting point is not 100% clear. House number does not match museo correct. That was confusing. Otherwise a great evening with our very nice guide. He speaks perfect German and is very competent. We liked it very much and learned a lot.

The tower offers a nice view. The staff is super friendly. And there was also a very small but fine exhibition. The ideal way to end the day if you're looking for a little something to round off the day.

Sergio was a wonderful guide filled with anecdotes and knowledge about the many mysteries in Venice. He also shared a few great recommendations for local restaurants. Can highly recommend! Emma and Marc
