We met Peter as planned, he introduced himself, and we cannot speak too highly of the wonderful afternoon we spent in his company, the tour of oxford was the highlight of our few days there to celebrate my wife's 65th birthday. We are both fans of Inspector Morse, Lewis, and Endeavour, especially my wife, and Peter took us to all the places where the filming took place, the churches, the pubs, colleges, Randolph Hotel, explaining everything about the different episodes and characters, we were amazed by his knowledge. Peter had brought folders with him and showed us photos relating to the shows. Peter also told us a lot about Oxford, and also about Harry Potter, J K Rowling, Tolkien, also Lewis Carroll. Peter also took us to the indoor market which we found really enjoyable with all its traditional shops and crafts. The day after our tour my wife and I actually revisited some of the places which we wouldn't have found without Peter showing us. we cannot speak too highly of Peter & tour
Met with Peter out tour guide and was expecting the run of the mill tour, but we got so much more.We booked for an Inspector Morse tour but Peter has much knowledge about Oxford from its famous writers C S Lewis and Tolkien to Harty Potter to Inspector Morse. He told us albout the history of Oxford's buildings and its past. Peter took the time with us to take pictures and answer any questions we had, and set me links for films and documentaries to do with Oxford. Best tour guide in Oxford we had a great time and do recommend booking.
We went on 22nd February with Peter as our tour guide. It was an excellent experience his knowledge was superb. The two hours went really quick with so much to take in. Not only did we learn about Morse! But Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland Narnia and with all the knowledge of the Authors too, Excellent, have recommended it to our sons and work colleagues also. Choc biscuits went down a treat too.
we found the young lady was very knowedgeable on morse lewis endeavour and also on oxford it was a very interesting walk and talk and we learned a lot about the characters we had always intented to do a morse walk when we came to oxford again and very glad we chose this tour and guide
Mark our guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour very Interesting. My husband is blind and disabled and has a rollator and we needed a toilet quickly for him on the way round and Mark dealt with it calmy and professionally and kept smiling, which put us at ease.
