  • Oslo Fjord 2-Hour Sightseeing Cruise

    1. Oslo Fjord 2-Hour Sightseeing Cruise

Discover Oslo's gorgeous Fjords on a trip into a dreamlike landscape. The dramatic waterways are a photographer's dream and give the city its lifeblood. On this 2-hour boat tour you will get a chance to see the best parts of these idyllic landscapes from the sea, offering a unique viewpoint rarely appreciated in these days of cheap air travel. Once aboard the comfortable boat, you will get the chance to purchase refreshments, before settling down to stare out at unbridled natural beauty. You will pass through narrow sounds, deep bays, and a maze of islands, dotted with picturesque summer homes. The fun tour will introduce you to the Norwegian coastline in an easy fashion, providing the sort of views that the Vikings would have seen back in the days of their great explorations.

Very smooth boat trip, lots of sun, relaxing atmosphere. Perfect two hours spent on the Helena. You get to see rich people homes and also more rustic norwegian style homes on the surrounding islands and peninsulas. It’s well worth it, it changed our opinion of Oslo into a positive one.

  • Oslo Fjords 3-Hour Evening Buffet Cruise

    2. Oslo Fjords 3-Hour Evening Buffet Cruise

Experience the superb fjords of Oslo on board a traditional wooden sailing ship and cruise the network of waterways that stretch almost into the city center. The 3-hour evening buffet cruise will get you up-close-and-personal with the city’s dramatic scenery, while enjoying the ambiance of a fully restored ship, renovated to its former glory. Sail past numerous islands, including Hovedøya, and the Dyna Lighthouse. Navigate the narrow inlets and dip into sheltered bays to capture the capital on camera from different angles. The boat will pass close to the Bygdøy peninsula, housing many interesting museums as well as beaches such as Huk Bay. See the Maritime Museum with its veteran sailing ships moored outside, and the impressive Fram Museum, housing the polar ship of the same name. During your cruise, snacks of Norwegian shrimps will be offered, while the bar will provide a wide range ...

Very nice trip, pleasant time to spend. Beautiful views, some breathtaking images in the sunshine. Also good shrimps and wine or beer on the boat for extra money. All in all, I enjoyed the experience.

  • Set Sail in Oslo: 3-Hour Jazz and Buffet Cruise

    3. Set Sail in Oslo: 3-Hour Jazz and Buffet Cruise

The cool breeze wafts gently over you as you set sail on the Oslo Fjord for a 3-hour traditional sail. In the beauty of the Fjord, you will enjoy live music while drifting gently through the calm waters past a maze of green islands, ancient fortresses and the inner part of Oslo's main waterway. During your 3 hours on the fjord, snap some pictures of the gorgeous scenery, and marvel at the tiny houses that dot the many islands around the area. You will pass through narrow sounds, idyllic bars and small summer homes that make fjord life so vibrant. Along with the live music, feast on a buffet of shrimp, lemon, mayonnaise, and bread and butter in true Norwegian style.

We sat in the bow near the band and it was a lot of fun interacting with them and the other passengers in that area. The variety of music was wonderful and the vocals had a true jazz character. Arrive early enough to ensure a seat near the band in the bow. The cruise is close enough to shore to enjoy the waterfront Norwegian architecture as well as spectacular views of the port and the city. This cruise is a perfect jumping off point to orient yourself to the Oslo fjord and be wonderfully entertained at the same time. I will take the cruise again for sure.
