Full description
You will meet by the Tiger Statue outside the main train station ”Oslo S” and start an easy walk towards the local area of Oslo known as Grunnerløkka. Your guide will point out some interesting facts about the city's history and culture while making your way to the Mathallen food court, where you’ll have your first of three beer tasting. Try some Norwegian cheeses with two types of locally brewed beers. When you’re done sampling the first round, you'll head for the next two beers in one of the oldest breweries in the city. The bar personnel will explain you the stories behind each of the beers, and don’t hesitate to ask them which is their favorite. Your last, but not final stop (the night is still young) will be in a centrally-located microbrewery where you’ll end the tour with three types of beers and a traditional Scandinavian spirit. If you haven’t tried akavavit, this water of life drink, you will definitely be pleasantly surprised when you do. Cheers!
