Honestly great, the crew were lovely and everything went smoothly. Food was great and plentiful. Looking at some past reviews that said the ship was old and dirty (it was not dirty), I do not understand the complaints. The sites were lovely. Obviously the Oslo fjord is not as extraordinary as those in Bergen or elsewhere but it is a must do while in Oslo! The music was lovely and well selected. I travelled alone but I was not the only person going solo, which was a concern as I was worried it would be awkward going solo but it was not. Great for all sorts of groups or couples as well. Met up with some Australians who went to the bar with after so was a great social opportunity as well!

The crew on our boat August 24th were really friendly and definitely made the best of the bad weather with plenty of good tunes and karaoke going on! Playlist was a solid 10/10 with plenty of Abba and Queen. There was a lot of shrimp so we definitely didn’t go hungry and the bar was well stocked for the journey too!

Admire the Bygdøy peninsula and cruise the network of waterways that stretch almost into the city center. Get up close and personal with the city’s impressive scenery on this evening buffet cruise, and enjoy the ambiance of a fully restored ship, renovated to its former glory. Sail past numerous islands, including Hovedøya, and the Dyna Lighthouse. Navigate the narrow inlets and dip into sheltered bays to capture the capital on camera from different angles. The boat will pass close to the Bygdøy peninsula, housing many interesting museums as well as beaches such as Huk Bay. See the Maritime Museum with its veteran sailing ships moored outside, and the impressive Fram Museum, housing the polar ship of the same name. During your cruise, a Norwegian buffet dinner of shrimp will be offered, while the bar will provide a wide range of hot and cold drinks for purchase. First of all we were incredibly lucky with the weather. I'm not sure if it would be worth it if windy or rainy. Arrive early to get places in the queue as this is a very popular trip in summer and bring jumpers and coats for when the sun goes down. There was no commentary, just music, as we sailed up the fjord but several times they cut the engine and we just drifted so that a particularly scenic view could be fully appreciated. The prawn buffet was basically prawns and bread with lettuce. Very plentiful and delicious. The crew were wonderful, making sure that everyone had what they needed. Do go on this trip if you haven't already been up the fjord. The setting sun was just beautiful!
