  • Set Sail in Oslo: 3-Hour Jazz and Buffet Cruise

    1. Set Sail in Oslo: 3-Hour Jazz and Buffet Cruise

The cool breeze wafts gently over you as you set sail on the Oslo Fjord for a 3-hour traditional sail. In the beauty of the Fjord, you will enjoy live music while drifting gently through the calm waters past a maze of green islands, ancient fortresses and the inner part of Oslo's main waterway. During your 3 hours on the fjord, snap some pictures of the gorgeous scenery, and marvel at the tiny houses that dot the many islands around the area. You will pass through narrow sounds, idyllic bars and small summer homes that make fjord life so vibrant. Along with the live music, feast on a buffet of shrimp, lemon, mayonnaise, and bread and butter in true Norwegian style.

We sat in the bow near the band and it was a lot of fun interacting with them and the other passengers in that area. The variety of music was wonderful and the vocals had a true jazz character. Arrive early enough to ensure a seat near the band in the bow. The cruise is close enough to shore to enjoy the waterfront Norwegian architecture as well as spectacular views of the port and the city. This cruise is a perfect jumping off point to orient yourself to the Oslo fjord and be wonderfully entertained at the same time. I will take the cruise again for sure.

After the 1.5 hour of guided sledging, you can either choose to come back to the city with the guide or continue sledging until the evening. You can choose to take a slow ride or organize a race with your friends and family, with hot tea and coffee on hand to keep you warm.

The panoramic tour of Olso was fabulous! Our guide was knowledgeable and had interesting facts to keep things light and fun! The bus was very comfortable and the driver did a great job getting around obstacles! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for the highlights to the further explore the area.

It is the fastest and most incredible way to get to know Oslo, with an incredible and very noble knowledge guide, a bus that looks more like an executive plane and a very well planned route, to serve as a guide for the rest of your stay In addition the price is very reasonable.

Our tour guide Helene was lovely and very informative. The tour took us to an extra stop as there was no traffic (given it was New Year’s Day). Overall would highly recommend.

Very nice round tour with guide in English. We particularly liked the detailed tour of the sculpture park. live explanations are much better than a voice from the tape.

Interesting tour that gives a good first overview of Oslo.
