Full description
Your canyoning tour starts in Omiš, from where you will travel by mini bus to the village of Zadvarje. During the transfer you will enjoy panoramic views of Brac, Hvar, Vruja Bay, and Biokovo Mountain. Once you arrive in Zadvarje you will be provided with 5-millimiter canyoning neopren, a helmet, a life vest, and a canyoning harness. Throughout your canyoning on the Cetina River you will combine swimming through the crystal clear river with hiking, sliding through the rapids, and passing through the beautiful tunnels from where you will have an incredible view of the 55 meter-high waterfall Gubavica. You will also, as a reward for your effort, get to peek into a cave located in the heart of the waterfall. All you need to bring for this canyoning adventure is water and snacks, sports shoes, a towel, a minimum level of fitness, and an adventurous spirit. Your canyoning tour will later end near one of the oldest power plants in Europe, named Kraljevac.

Far better experience than I had envisaged. A brilliant 3 hours filled with hiking, scrambling, swimming and jumping. A good number of rapids to flow down and a good set of jumps including one at 12 metres! A tough physical challenge due to the length and steep hiking / unassisted climbing. If in good fitness and a lover of nature you’ll enjoy this day out!

Great experience that you should definitely have done. Good organization including transfer. Due to different strengths and speeds, 2 groups have formed. Due to the number of guides that was not a problem. Photos are taken and then made available. It is best to connect with others, as a link will be sent by email for 100 kuna. However, this can easily be forwarded.

We recommend!

We had pretty bad weather the morning we started the tour, it was raining all the time. We still drove to the starting point and the guide let us as a group decide whether we wanted to do the tour in this weather or not. We then decided to wait a little longer to see if the weather improved. So the guide took us to a café and bought the whole group a coffee and had a super nice chat with us in perfect English. Fortunately the weather had improved and we were able to start the tour! And it was great! First it went pretty rough, then it soon went into the Cetina River. As far as it went down it went up again later. It got pretty warm in the wetsuits at times, but the cooling came back in the river. At the end there was the possibility to make 7 or 9 meter jumps. Very cool!
