  • This tour operates on Utah time (Mountain Daylight Time), which is 1 hour ahead of Arizona from March to November. Please take this into account when planning your visit. If you're coming from Arizona please leave 1 hour early
  • The tour is operated in an open-air safari-style vehicle with a maximum of 12 passengers in warm weather. During cold or hot weather, the tour uses an enclosed SUV vehicle with a maximum of 7 people
  • Because of rough terrain, this tour is not suitable for infants younger than 1 years old or women who are more than 5 months pregnant
  • On the rare occasion, rug weaving may be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances

We booked the open jeep tour for 9:30 but ran into an issue while driving there and although their website clearly says no changes or refunds, when I called them, lily was able to offer us a later tour which worked out for us. Also this being the winter season, we were glad to see a regular SUV which wasn’t opened. Yes, it could be a bit more cleaned but you are in the grand canyon’s red sandy area so cleanliness of the vehicle was the last thing in my mind. Lily was really great about accommodating us and our guide, bruce Lee, was very knowledgeable. Of course it’s not the way he probably spells but it was easy for me to remember. My son and I got the private tour and felt we were able to connect easily with our guide. We also enjoyed conversing with our guide. This tour is totally worth it. So if you are on the fence, just book it, you won’t be disappointed.
