The tour usually starts with a 07:30hrs hotel pickup. Then followed by a 45mins to 1hr transfer to the Okavango Delta NG32 Concession. You will be allocated a guide/poler who will take you on an unforgettable journey through the channels of the Okavango. Born and raised in the Okavango Delta, our polers and guides show you their home which they are very passionate and knowledgeable about. We support the local community in the Okavango Delta. All our polers come from the village Community Trust and are allocated on a rotation basis. The experienced polers take you on a journey through the delta channels. Enjoy the peace of the delta in a Mokoro, . At lunch time you stop for a picnic meal on one of the islands before your guide takes you on an nature walk where we hope to see more animals. Feel the peace and tranquility of the Okavango surrounded by hippos and serenaded by the abundant bird life, before heading back to Maun.

Next, hop into your mokoro with your experienced poler, a master of the channels of the delta who is astute in co-existing with aquatic wildlife. Learn about the amazing ecosystem that is the Okavango Delta, and soak up the tranquility of the area. Break up your mokoro tour by setting up a picnic lunch on an island. When your once in a lifetime experience draws to a close, head back to the Boro Mokoro Station where your engine-powered boat will pick you up for a trip to Audi camp to arrive before sunset. Start your trip very early in Maun with pickup at your accommodation, then drive east through Shorobe village to the south gate of the Moremi Game Reserve. Stop to enjoy a picnic breakfast at a scenic spot at the gate before entering the protected reserve for your game drive. After passing the buffalo fence, you'll begin to see the wildlife. Both Black and White Rhino, while rare to spot, have recently been reintroduced, making this reserve a “Big Five” destination (meaning it contains lions, leopards, rhinoceros, elephants, and Cape buffalo). The park also contains more than 400 species of birds, many migratory and some endangered, and is excellent for birdwatching. With the help of your guide, search for and view as much game as you can. Stop at another scenic location for lunch and continue your game viewing while eating. After lunch, head back out on your game drive until it is time to return to Maun. Upon arrival in Maun, you will be dropped off at your preferred stop.

You will be transferred to the mokoro station by 4WD open sided safari vehicle (about an hour) where you will meet your mokoro poler. Upon arrival at the mokoro station, your mokoro poler will give a briefing about the mokoro excursion. You will then glide along myriad water channels in a mokoro (dug-out canoe) looking for wildlife and bird species which inhabit the delta. It is ideally suited as transport in the Delta as it can move quietly through shallow water, being pushed by a boatman using a long pole. The mokoro excursion is a very popular activity in the Okavango Delta among guests who travel to Botswana. It is an opportunity to fully experience the sounds and sights of nature without running the risk of scaring off animals with a motor and is thus a highly recommended expedition for photographers. Guides that command mokoro are highly knowledgeable about the environment and as such these trips are considered safe and enjoyable. There will be much to see from water-based animals and other wild animals such as zebra, impala, elephant, kudu, giraffe, waterbuck, hippo, and crocodile. Bird watching as well is quite remarkable and includes hornbill, secretary bird, crane, vulture, plovers, and doves. Please bring a hat and sunscreen as there is no shade. Discover Chobe National Park in northern Botswana near the vast, inland Okavango Delta. The park is known for its large herds of elephants and Cape buffalo, which converge along the Chobe Riverfront in the dry months. Lions, antelopes, and hippos inhabit the woods and lagoons around Linyanti Marsh. The floodable grasslands of the Savuti Marsh attract numerous bird species, plus migrating zebras. Start the tour with pick up from your hotel and drive to the Chobe National Park. First, embark on an exciting riverboat cruise. On the cruise, see hippo, crocodile and other wildlife that come to the shores for a drink. After the cruise, enjoy a game drive along the Chobe River as you make your way to the campsite in the national park. Once settled in at camp enjoy dinner and an overnight stay. In the morning, take another game drive after which you will be transported back to Kasane where your safari will end.

We offer you the chance to view wildlife from an open safari vehicle accompanied by a professional guide. This trip is very popular among guests with limited time. Departing from Maun in the early morning, we will pick you up form your hotel and do a short briefing about your trip before heading to Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi Game Reserve is about 100km from Maun, and you can expect to spend 5 to 6 hours of the day on a safari game drive. We offer tea, coffee, packed breakfast and lunch, bottled water and soft drinks. Moremi Game Reserve is commonly described as one of the most beautiful wildlife reserves in Africa, possibly in the world. However it is the great diversity of plant and animal life that makes Moremi Game Reserve so well known and increasingly more popular every year. The Moremi Game Reserve covers much of the eastern side of the Okavango Delta. A surprising amount of game can be viewed on these trips. Warm clothes are necessary during the winter months and rain gear during the rainy season (late November to late March). After passing through the “Buffalo Fence” an hour out of Maun you will enter some of the top wildlife areas that Botswana has to offer. Your guide will stop a little before we reach the park gate in order to have tea, coffee and a light breakfast. Before you have lunch at just around 1100am you will do 1 hour boat cruise at Moremi Xakanaxa. At around 1:00pm your guide will pick a scenic spot for you to have a delicious packed lunch. We also supply a cooler box with ice for any extra drinks you may wish to take. Moremi is one of the accessible areas with amazing wildlife, animals and bird species. The wildlife highlights differ from day to day and amongst them are leopards, lions, wild dogs, kudus, waterbucks, elephants, buffaloes, impalas. Birdlife is quite amazing in the area with birds such as secretary bird, hornbill, lapwing, vulture, African jacana, African fish eagle, hamerkop, and crested crane amongst many other species. After a game drive in the reserve, you will be transferred back to Maun and dropped off at your place of accommodation.

Stop by an island and do a bush walk to stretch your legs, look for animals and learn about the local flora and fauna. Animals that can usually be seen include hippos, crocodiles, elephants, zebras, impala, and various bird species. Make a stop to eat your packed lunch and enjoy a refreshing drink. You will then return to the mokoro and start the return journey back to the vehicle, which will be waiting to drive you back to Maun.
