What to Expect
You’ll be picked up in Puerto Montt and head south on this tour that takes in the Angelmo fishing wharf and the city’s colorful seafood market.
Your 7-hour excursion then moves into Chile's Lake District, with stops to see the charming city of Puerto Varas, the vast Lake Llanquihue, and the impressive snow-capped Osorno Volcano.
The perfect cone of Osorno Volcano and the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Calbuco and Mt. Tronador are clearly visible from the lakefront. Continue up Osorno Volcano, with a stop to enjoy a pleasant walk around the area.
Afterwards you’ll drive to the Petrohué River and the emerald green Todos Los Santos Lake where you’ll be able to take in spectacular views of area peaks. Take a walk along the Petrohué River to view the falls that cascade over volcanic rocks.
Enjoy a city walk in Puerto Varas and an optional lunch at a local restaurant. You’ll also make a brief stop to browse the handicraft markets in Puerto Montt city.
