Ranua Zoo was opened in 1983, about 50 different species and over 150 individuals together. Most representative animals are polar bear, Arctic fox, moose, snow owl and so much more to be discovered by yourself Besides, Fazer Chocolate Shop is one of the highlights there as it is the most cheapest shop in this area and many options to choose while you are shopping inside!! Ranua Wildlife Park specializes in arctic and northern animal species, with a history of over 40 years. The animals’ spacious enclosures are located in the middle of the northern coniferous forest, which is also the natural environment for most species living in the park. We are open every day of the year. The changing seasons bring an additional dimension to visiting the wildlife park. Ranua Wildlife Park is home to Finland’s only polar bear and 50 other arctic and northern animal species, comprising about 150 individual animals. The route is about 3 kilometers long and takes about 1,5-2 hours to walk through.

You will be pick up at your accommodation or meet at our agency. We'll drive outside Rovaniemi to reach a magical place. We will start a hike in winter wonderland magical site, you will feel like walking on the moon. Some hot drink and cookies will be served during the hike. Feel free to take photos and videos as you might not see again this kind of landscapes. After the hike we'll head back to Rovaniemi

This unforgettable adventure is also perfect for families. You will be seated in a sledge pulled by a snowmobile, driving into the deep forest. The route leads you through the changing landscape of Lapland. During the safari you will have a break by an open fire where you can enjoy a snack with coffee and tea. If you are lucky, you may be able to see the Northern Lights lighting up the sky.
