Grouse Mountain is Vancouver’s most visited year-round natural attraction, located just 15 minutes from downtown. Year-round, you can enjoy our Mountaintop Chalet, which includes great dining options, an HD Theatre in the Sky, and two gift shops for souvenirs and clothing. Currently, in our "between-season" period, Grouse offers the above activities as well as our grizzly bear habitat with accompanying Ranger Talks. Ranger talks about our resident owls are also available! You can also add to your experience with exciting adventures (at an additional fee) such as a mountain ropes course and mountain ziplines. In snowy winter, enjoy the stunning light installations on the Light Walk, the slopes at the Sliding Zone, an outdoor skating pond, snowshoeing, and more. This is especially important in the fall period between summer and winter.

Enjoy a full-day of light adventure from Vancouver and see the stunning Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain. Explore the amazing temperate rainforest on Vancouver's North Shore on this tour aboard a climate-controlled coach.  Be picked up from your accommodation in Vancouver or Richmond hotels, or be picked up from the cruise pier. Relax on the drive to the Capilano Fish Hatchery and learn about the life cycle of salmon on a tour.  Feel the thrill of crossing the Capilano Suspension Bridge, the largest suspension foot bridge in the world. Choose from a morning or afternoon departure and slip into the required red cruiser suit to get a safety tutorial. Then, board the open-air, purpose-built zodiac boat and set off on a scenic ride through Burrard Inlet. Get up close to native wildlife and listen to the expert commentary as you navigate the waterways at speeds up to 30 miles per hour (50 kilometers per hour). Admire the lush greenery of Coal Harbour, North Shore, English Bay, False Creek and Stanley Park, looking for dolphins, harbor seals and bald eagles along the way. We are happy to welcome you on our beautiful 2011 50 foot Jeanneau Sailboat that is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We depart Mosquito Creek and motor out of Vancouver Harbour into Burrard Inlet. You will see Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and unique views of downtown from the water. Once we pass under the Lions Gate Bridge we'll set sail and enjoy stunning views of the Vancouver area, Passage and Bowen Islands, Point Atkinson, West Vancouver, Howe Sound and even Georgia Straight. Sit back and relax whilst we serve up a light snack and a selection of Beers, Ciders and assortment of alcoholic beverages as you enjoy the views of English Bay. We have water and pop available for the minors, tea and coffee as well. If you're the more adventurous type, we can put you to work and teach you the basics of how to sail, trimming the sails and even take the helm. After 2 hours on the water pack up the sails and motor back to Mosquito Creek and the picturesque views of Coal Harbour. We offer all kinds of other experiences if your looking for something more private or don't see a date that works for your group. Please reach out and well do our best to create a unique and once in a lifetime experience! We do not have a min number of guest required to run the experience and have a covered cockpit should we see showers. We only cancel due to unsafe conditions.

Meet a driver at your Vancouver hotel or port for 10am departure to Stanley Park, a 1,000-acre (405-ha.) playground with stunning city views, mountain backdrops, and a scenic coast. From there, continue to Gastown, where Gassy Jack Deighton laid the foundation of this great west coast city. Some highlights of Gastown include Maple Tree Square, historic architecture, and the world famous steam-powered clock. The next stop is Chinatown, developed at the turn of the last century by Chinese immigrants who came to work the gold mines and railroad. Once across the bridge and on the North Shore, the tour continues to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. The final stop of the day is Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, whose slender foot bridge stretches across a forest river. Cross the bridge, then climb into the canopy and walk through the Treetops Adventure Walkway, high above the canyon. Those seeking a more thrilling experience can try the Cliffwalk, the newest attraction at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, a series of suspended walkways built out from the granite cliff face. This five-hour tour concludes with the return trip to Vancouver, and drop-off at your original departure point.
