What to Expect
Enjoy views that stretch for miles from the Top of the Rock. Visit this New York City icon and learn about the history of the building through interactive displays and films.
With the country facing economic catastrophe and the world recovering from war, John D. Rockefeller’s vision for his center never wavered. Rockefeller Center and its observation deck were his gifts to Manhattan: a place for locals and visitors to marvel at the city he loved.
At the time of its construction, the Rockefeller Center was the largest private building project in modern history, a collection of buildings unrivaled in their artistry and Art Deco style.
