A really great experience. I encountered a group of people from Greece, Australia and Italy. Our guide Steven was really entertaining and very friendly. We learned about the history of Washington Square Park, Stone Wall, several old residences, the location of the “Friends” apartment from the TV show, the skinniest building in New York, the location and history of the Triangle shirt waist fire.... where all the neat jazz and comedy clubs were in the area.... the list goes on! I highly recommend this tour!
Kevin was an amazing tour guide. He was very informative and very friendly. He was able to communicate effectively with customers from 5 or 6 counties and brought us all together as a group. My wife uses a wheelchair and he was able to work the tour so we covered everything in the Village and felt accommodated. He is the best tour guide I have ever had anywhere in the world. The Greenwich Village tour was the highlight of our trip to NYC.
Immerse yourself in the ever-present culture as you stroll down bohemian streets and imagine a life where poets, artists, writers, and activists converged at the most unlikely, yet likely places. Follow a knowledgeable and charming guide who draws you into the past with captivating stories and the sights to match. Not to be missed!
What a great way to spend a couple of hours learning about the history of a fantastic NYC neighborhood. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who can walk and has an interest in the artistic beginnings of NYC. Our guide Evan was EXCEPTIONAL!!!
Kevin knows so much about the Greenwich area of NYC. Great little historical stories, architectural tidbits, lots on happenings past and current. He can answer most anything you ask. FUN tour.
