What to Expect
The Blue Mountains Explorer Bus gives you the flexibility to plan your day according to your interests. The bus tour operates on a regular basis from Katoomba railway station, with 30-minute frequencies throughout most of the day from 9:45 onwards.

The full-day pass has no restrictions – simply hop-on and hop-off as you please. This means you can plan your day around the all the major attractions on offer in the region. If you are staying in the Blue Mountains, your full-day pass can be validated at no extra charge for the duration of your stay (maximum 7 days).

The hop-on hop-off bus tour has 29 stops around Leura and Katoomba. Plan your day at your own pace with the option of visiting the waterfalls, attractions, galleries, gardens, bushwalks, cafes, and restaurants in the area as well as the major attractions of the Three Sisters and Katoomba Scenic World.

Know Before You Go
Departs Katoomba Railway Station regularly from 9.45am daily, with the last bus departing at 4.45pm, returning at 5.45pm. If catching the train, customers can buy a NSW Train Link return train fare from any inner city station or Central Station. They must purchase the ticket on day of travel or use an Opal Card by taping on and taping off. Customers must either depart or change trains at Central for the Interurban train to Katoomba on the Blue Mountains line. Passengers need to check on the morning of departure the indicator boards to check the platform number the train is departing from. The train may have the final destination as Katoomba, or it may continue to Mt Victoria or Lithgow which will be displayed as the final destination but all trains stop at Katoomba
