We were unable to hear our guide at the beginning of the tour due to construction and maintenance workers at a nearby restaurant. Tour guides should have microphones. Also, the tour information intimates that we will be going INTO a cemetery which is not the case, so it's a little deceiving.
Our guide James was so genuine. He shared not only tons of factual information but personal touches as well. His love of New Orleans shined & gave the tour a personal touch you could feel. Sad we couldn't go in the cemetery but will definitely revisit NOLA to experience this.
The trip was fantastic, the boat was fantastic all clean and all big so much space. What I not found good was; The foot on plastic and the people who’s bring the foot was not with nice clothes. Maybe clothes from the real time when the river boats startet.
We took the cruise as part of my bachelorette weekend activities. The food and drinks were good and the cruise was relaxing. It was a bit windy but my friends and I were able to locate a comfortable seating area on the side of the boat.
We had the best walking tour ever with Val as our guide! He knows everything and everyone and it was a delightful, educational experience with our well-informed guide. Five stars, highly recommend!
