Pick up was prompt. Explained planned tour to us. Really nice vehicle for the six of us to be comfortable in. Tyler was very educated on New Orleans history regarding all topics. Engaging, funny & personable. We were a mix of new and frequent visitors so I appreciated the new areas to see and his restaurant, things to do recommendations. We had a great time.
The museum was clean & well laid out with exceptional staff/volunteers who were friendly & knowledgeable. We enjoyed the Union Pacific Train experience as you arrive! The exhibits were very thorough, nice mix of text & visuals and easy to learn and understand for all levels of WWII knowledge!
The passes were easy to pick up on Canal Street. I went to each place the cards were scanned with no problem. Everyone was friendly, open, and very accommodating! One thing if you do the swamp tour, and want to go early in the morning call ahead. Reservations recommend there!
Experience.....Exceptional in every way! Felt emotional in parts because my Dad was in the Army WWII. My Father was in the Navy. My Uncle was in Merchant Marines. And I remember air raids. Lovely remembrance. No suggestions for improvement. 5 STARS PLUS.
The museum is extraordinary and should not be missed. There are alot of newsreels, which helped realize the depth of pain our soldiers go through to keep our democracy. It brought that period to life.
