  • Visit the holy Shri Bankey Bihari Temple
  • Learn all about Shri Krishna at Prem Mandir
  • Marvel at the Taj Mahal
Overview
A once in a lifetime opportunity to visit the spiritual cities of Mathura and Vrindavan. Discover the 8th Wonder of the World, the Taj Mahal, in Agra.
What to Expect
Start your day bright and early and drive via the express highway to the sacred city of Vrindavan, where the young Krishna is said to have grown up. You will meet your tour guide for an introduction before moving on to the Shri Bankey Bihari Temple, the holiest temple of Lord Krishna. Observe a sacred image of Lord Krishna known as Thakur Ji and take part in Shringar Aarti at Bankey Bihari Temple. Offer flower garlands and sweets to Lord Krishna and meditate in the temple complex.

Visit Prem Mandir, a religious and spiritual complex situated on a 54-acre site on the outskirts of Vrindavan dedicated to Shri Krishna. Enjoy The Circumambulation route, which is 40 feet wide and begins from the main entrance of the temple. 80 panels shows the different pastimes of Shri Krishna as described in the Shrimad Bhagavat Puran, chronologically displayed in three dimensional format.

Travel to Mathura, famed for being the birthplace of the much-loved Hindu god Krishna, and one of Hinduism's seven sacred cities. Move on to Shri Krishna Janambhoomi, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, where you will enjoy live kirtan in the kirtan room and make offerings to the lord.

Next, head to Agra, the capital of the erstwhile Muhal Empire and home of the Taj Mahal. Stop for lunch at one of the best local restaurants before visiting the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, and prepare to be awestruck by this shimmering vision of domes and minarets. The world's best-known tomb stands testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, and his wife – queen Mumtaz Mahal.

Spend some free time shopping in Agra, known for its fabulous handicrafts made of marble and softstone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of arts and crafts, and Empress Nur Jahan was an accomplished artist herself in zari embroidery work. Examine Agra's major handicraft products such as leatherware, brassware, carpets, jewellery and embroidery.

After a memorable day, drive back to Delhi and reflect in your hotel room or airport lounge on the wonderful sights visited.
