What to Expect
Discover India's Golden Triangle on this 5-day tour. Visit Delhi and its museums, monuments, performing arts, and amazing food. See Old Delhi, the capital of Muslim India between the 12th and 19th centuries, as well as New Delhi, the imperial city created as India's capital by the British.
Drive past the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit the Great Mughal Mosque, the largest mosque in India. Take a walking tour of Chandni Chowk, the silver street of Old Delhi and visit the cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi.
Discover Agra and see the Taj Mahal with all its architectural splendor at sunrise. Visit Agra Fort and the Marble Inlay Workshop. Then take a drive to Jaipur, the old capital of royalty in the desert lands of India, Rajasthan.
Ascend to Amber Fort by Elephant and learn about Rajput artistry. See the Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar Observatory, City Palace Museum, and learn all about Rajput armory, clothes and art. Go shopping in Jaipur and see unique handicrafts, carpets, blue pottery, textiles and much more.
Arrival at Delhi International Airport. Meet travel executive upon arrival for any assistance. Check-in time is 12:00pm. Leisure time to visit Delhi.
Day 2: (Meals: B)
Day starts with a visit to Old and New Delhi driving by the Red Fort and visiting Jama Masjid, the great Mughal Mosque. Take a walking tour of Chandni Chowk and visit Raj Ghat, the cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi. Then on to Qutab Minar and short stop at India Gate before starting the afternoon drive to Agra.
Day 3: (Meals: B)
Visit Taj Mahal at Sunrise before heading back to the hotel for breakfast. Then on to Agra Fort and visit to Marble Inlay workshop before departing to Jaipur. Stop for a visit at Fatehpūr Sikrī. Check in at the hotel upon arrival at Jaipur.
Day 4: (Meals: B)
Departure after breakfast to Amber Fort, a magnificent example of Rajput architecture. Then on to a sightseeing tour of Jaipur complete with visits to, Hawa Mahal-Palace of Winds, Jantar Mantar Observatory, and City Palace Museum followed by time for shopping and departure to Delhi.
Day 5: (Meals: B)
Breakfast at hotel followed by leisure time. Departure to Delhi International Airport for flights.
