Overall rating

The guide was very attentive and adapted the itinerary to what was possible according to our needs. We depart from Melanichori and go to Oia for a 1.5 hour visit. It is necessary to take into account the long travel time between one village and another. He explained to us the places where we passed. We walked from Oia to the archaeological site of Akrotiri - therefore from one end to the other. We pass by Praia Preta and visit the highest point on the island, the Monks Convent. We visited the Akrotiri site which took longer because we decided to take a guided tour and time was up. Still he escorted us back to the hotel.

The guide was excellent and took us to all the areas we wanted to see for as long as we wanted to stay in that area. We had a choice of activities and he accommodated every desire.

The tour guide was excellent and accommodating with our timing needs. However, no bottled water or snacks provided in the minivan as advertised.
