Visit the picturesque streets of colorful houses on Skeppergrand and Mäster Mikaels Gata, where time stands still. You'll ride down one of the most beautiful streets in Stockholm, Strandvägen. See the bustling island of Djurgården, rich in museums and numerous attractions. Visit the place that gave rise to the Stockholm Syndrome. Taste traditional Swedish pastries. Feel the city's atmosphere. Our golf carts are equipped with the latest technologies, such as audio systems delivering fascinating stories about the visited places in various languages. Sounds interesting? We understand that you need to have constant internet access, so each cart is equipped with free Wi-Fi. Want to take a photo? No problem. Welcome! Our Bike Tour gives you a summary and overview of Stockholm in a few hours. You will feel well informed about the "Venice of the North" afterwards and ready to continue exploring on your own. Meeting point is at Odenplan 10-15 minutes before start time to check in and to adjust your bike. Your Stockholm Summer Tours guide will be wearing a visible vest and stand with the bikes middle of Odenplan. We learn about Stockholm's past and present, as we enjoy the beautiful architecture and breathtaking water surroundings. Please note that 3,5 out of the 4 hours is the actual tour time, as 30 minutes is planned for going back and forth Odenplan -> Old Town & City -> Odenplan. Our Bike Tour mixes active biking with plenty of stops along the way, for you to catch your breath and take memorable pictures. And of course - “fika”! Two small “fika” is included, one after the Old Town and one towards the end of our time together. We have 1-2 longer breaks (excl. the stops we do along the way), where we leave the bikes and rest: 1x at the Rosendal Garden and on Saturdays we also do 1x break at the 19th century Östermalm Food Hall (On Sundays we just make a stop outside, as the Food Hall is closed on Sundays). After the tour your guide will stay around for a chat and happily help you with any recommendations, depending on what you might be looking for! Experience adrenaline thrills in the Stockholm Archipelago on board an RIB speed boat, and enjoy a fast and exciting adventure on the Baltic Sea. Make your way to the Blaiseholmen Peninsula to meet your skipper and rigid inflatable boat (RIB). Listen to a short briefing on what to expect during the boat ride. Then, change into your waterproof gear and life jacket (provided). Hop into the boat and grab the railing - it's going to be a bumpy ride! Pass the Nationalmusem (Stockholm National Museum) and scenic urban coast as you leave the city. Take a loop around Djurgården to marvel at the Gröna Lund amusement park, Vasa Museum and Prince Eugens Waldemarsudde Museum. The boat will then pick-up speed as it races out towards the idyllic Stockholm Archipelago at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. (64 kilometers per hour). As you reach the island of Fjäderholmarnas, you've entered the heart of the archipelago. Look at the rocky, tree-covered islands that dot the Baltic Sea. Some are home to pastel-colored wooden dwellings and small fishing villages, but many are uninhabited. Slow down at the island of Vaxholm to appreciate the mammoth Vaxholm Fortress, constructed in the 1500s. After enjoying the bracing wind and salty water, head back to the start point.
