Really amazing day out with Sapfo who was so easy going, fun and very informative. Was very lucky to have Sapfo as my guide and will definitely book in again next time I am in Greece. Cycling around the historic areas, out through suburbs and along the coast was so much fun. Definitely will remember so much of what Sapfo was telling me about the history and culture today of Greece, also lots of great tips for future travel. Very comfortable bike and easy to arrange this tour.
I did the coastal ride on my second day in Athens, it was a great way to see the calmer side of the city. Kostos was an excellent guide, very friendly and helpful, full of useful tips for places to visit and things to see. Would highly recommend Athens by Bike.... especially if your travelling/exploring alone as you become one of a small friendly group. Many thanks and see you next time I'm in Athens!
We just got back from our vacation in Greece and one of the best parts was our private bike tour with Danae Balanani. She took us on easy bike paths from the center of the city out to coastal Athens where we had a chance to have coffee at the beach and wade in the Aegean Sea. We biked through historic neighborhoods and tasted Greek food along the way. What a great way to see Athens!
Very nice walking tour - starting with some explanations on ancient sites around the Agora and finishing with the « Rebellion » quarter of Athens, where graffiti is still a political rather than an artistic expression. Pleasant stopover in a small street café in the middle of the tour. We have come many times to Athens before, but discovered some new areas thanks to the tour.
This tour offered historical sites, up & coming neighborhoods, and a cultural look at graffiti. A stop for Greek coffee offered us more time to ask questions and take a short break. Both the guide & accompanying archaeologist were informative.
