This was a brilliant tour. I had been keen to learn more about Cardiff's industrial past, and this trip answered all my questions and more, explained by a local guide with comprehensive and detailed knowledge of the area. I had no idea of the actual location of Tiger Bay, for instance. No spoilers - I wouldn't want to compromise the surprise (well, to me!) to others enjoying this tour. My guide Lucy showed me a selection of excellent old photos showing how Cardiff Bay looked at the height of its power, to compare with its completely different look today. I was told the story of the Norwegian church and shown the Senedd and Scott's statue. She also took me to the Barrage, and pointed out the various undertakings to protect the wildlife in the area. We saw the inside of the Pierhead House and went into the stunning Coal Exchange for a cuppa! I would highly recommend this tour. I came away with a much clearer knowledge of the area's history, and eager to find out more.

We came to Cardiff to spend the weekend and Lucy has made it absolutely wonderful! We went on a tour with her around Cardiff on our first day and it was so brilliant that we signed up for the Cardiff Bay the next day as well. We enjoyed panoramic views of Cardiff Bay, talked about the history of Cardiff Docs, the coal industry and the main related events and how it influenced the modern day, and even had a quick tour inside the Welsh Parliament with her, which I highly recommend to see, not only for its sustainable design, but also for what stands behind its symbolism! On our way back, Lucy showed us the where to take a river taxi back to the city center which was also super fun! I highly recommend taking this tour, as Lucy is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also the most welcoming local Welsh who truly enjoys what she does and will make sure you have the best time in Cardiff!

An excellent tour of Cardiff with the fun and interesting twist of where they featured in Dr Who. Dewi was a very knowledgeable guide, with great insider unfortunately to share
