What to Expect
The tour includes a visit at the fascinating square called "Piazza del Gesù" where you will see the church of Gesù Nuovo and the obelisk of Immacolatella. Walk along Spaccanapoli street which follows the same direction of ancient Greeks and Romans street, and admire the church and the monastery of Saint Chiara dating back the 14 century, the square of Saint Domenico, the famous Chapel San Severo where the majestic statue called "Cristo Velato" of Giuseppe Sammartino is preserved. Next, walk on the street called via dei Tribunali and see the church of Saint Lorenzo dating back to the 13th century, the chapel Pio Monte di Misericordia with the masterwork of Caravaggio called "The Seven Works of Mercy", and the cathedral of Saint Gennaro dating back the 13 century with its great baroque style chapel where the blood of the Saint is preserved.
Pizza is one the most important "monuments" of the Naples and you will eat some original pizza where only the Neapolitans go.
