What to Expect
This 9-hour excursion is designed for those who want to enjoy the highlights of the Amalfi Coast and visit the famous resort villages of Positano and Ravello.
You will be met by your driver at the Port of Naples and ascend by luxury vehicle up the mountains through switchback roads to the charming town of Ravello.
Spend the morning exploring the mountainous village, which overlooks the breathtaking Amalfi Coast and is mostly closed to traffic. You will walk down medieval streets, passing the Duomo and lavish villas, such as the Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, the former providing inspiration for the original stage design of Richard Wagner’s “Parsifal.”
You may choose to eat lunch here, or stop somewhere along the coast. Try something prepared with the local lemons, which are a specialty of the region and go towards producing the famous Lemoncello liqueur.
Continue along scenic roads as you drive up the coast and reach the winding, narrow streets and seaside cafés of Positano.
One of the most famous villages of the Amalfi Coast, John Steinbeck once described it as “like a dream.” Explore the romantic streets and houses, stopping to purchase some of the colorful pottery if you wish.
Spend the remainder of the afternoon exploring at leisure and pausing for refreshments in the delightful cafés, before returning to the Port of Naples for the end of your tour.
