Overview
Visit Naples and discover the history and secrets of the city on this 3-hour guided tour. Learn more about life in the city and explore the largest old town in the world, which was awarded a spot on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
What to Expect
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Naples and learn more about the largest old town in the world. After the pick-up at the Port of Naples, you will walk to Castel Nuovo (also known as Maschio Angioino), the Bourbon King’s Square, and Piazza del Plebiscito. Here you can enjoy the fantastic views of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

Passing through the Royal Palace of Naples, you will continue on to the impressive Galleria Umberto and the Teatro di San Carlo. Stop at Gambrinus café and enjoy a Caffè Napolitano, as Oscar Wilde and Jean Paul Sartre once did. Stroll along Via Toledo and visit the interesting Spanish Quarter.

The next stop is at Piazza del Gesù, where you can see the church Gesù Nuovo and its futuristic façade. Here you will find the entrance to the old town and the Spaccanapoli, the street that divides Naples. Admire Saint Chiara Cloister and see the ancient figure of Corpo di Napoli.

Relax on a second break at one of the best insider cafes in the city. Continue on to San Gregorio Armeno, where you can visit the many craft shops that produce a mixture of Christian and modern nativity figures. At the end of the street you will reach Piazza San Gaetano, the heart of the city and the entrance to underground Naples.

At Piazza Bellini, now a popular evening meeting place for the locals and home to many interesting cafes, you can see the ancient city calls of the underground city. At the end of the tour you will pass through the old city gate Port’Alba to reach Piazza Dante.

After the tour, you can choose what you want to do next. Visit the famous Sansevero Chapel or the Museum in Castell Nuovo. Alternatively, you can use the time for a shopping trip along Via Toledo and the adjacent Via Chiaia., or choose to sample the culinary delights of Neapolitan cuisine instead. You can be accompanied by your tour guide or be picked up at a meeting point and driven back to the starting point.
