Silvia is a very well-spoken, sincere, witty, and highly educated guide. The tour was wonderful and offered great insights into the Neapolitan way of life. We were also extra lucky because it was just four people in the group :-) Definitely recommend!
Discover the ruins of Herculaneum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's best-preserved ancient cities. Herculaneum was buried under volcanic material after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD but, unlike the nearby site of Pompeii, a lot of the town was preserved, such as roofs, beds, doors, food, and even skeletons. Walk the cobbled streets of this UNESCO World Heritage Site with an expert archaeologist and get a glimpse of what life was like before the devastating eruption. Explore intact buildings at your own pace, see well-preserved frescoes, and imagine the daily rituals of those using the shops, public gymnasium and public thermal baths that can still be seen today.
Riccardo was amazing! He was friendly and helpful. He patiently answered all of my questions, and he spent as long at a given site as I wanted :) But more importantly, he was passionate about what he was doing. It was clear that he wasn't "just another bored tour guide, repeating the same spiel" but rather an extremely well-informed local who was intimately familiar with the site and all of its history and who clearly delighted in sharing it with us. Riccardo actually offered to stay past our two-hour booking time, just to allow us more time to fully enjoy Herculaneum in depth. Unfortunately, we had to leave to catch our train back to Naples. All in all, this was a fabulous experience, and if I visit other archaeological sites, I will definitely look into having an archaeologist as a guide. Highly recommend!

We got picked up at hour hotel right on time. The vehicle was very comfortable. They had to pick up two other people in their hotel so it was just the four of us. This is the reason I chose this particular tour as it was max six people and also offered pick up and drop off. It cost a lot more than the other tour operators but it is easier to just be picked up and dropped off. We stopped by at a service station to get coffee and breakfast and then drove all the way down to Pompeii and the guide Chiara was giving us some information along the way. After Pompeii we headed down to the Amalfi coast. There was traffic so it kind of took longer to get to Positano when we got there a quick walk down to the beach had lunch had some gelato and then off to the boat to go to Amalfi town. Did some souvenir shopping then back to the van. It was all fast but we had fun. The guide looked after us very very well. I was hesitant to book this tour as it wasn’t cheap but it was worth it. Glad we did it.

From pick up to drop off, the guides were incredibly thorough and well organised. I received a message from the guides the day before with meeting point details. We were picked up, taking on a ferry (not the nicest ferry but it got us there) and dropped off at the port in Capri. The guides walked us to the bus which was air conditioned and told us a little history of the island as we went to our first stop. All guides we're very lovely, informative and organised throughout the whole day. We saw the best little bits of the island and came back with our stomachs full and satisfied with a day of sun, boats and shopping. Would highly recommend for anyone who just wants to see a glimpse of the island from the sky and the sea.

From pick-up to drop off it was a great experience. Our guide was on time, friendly and knowledgable. We 1st went to Pompei where we were provided with a guide who's been on the dig since the beginning. Hector (archeologist), was so nice and jovial, the 4 people from our van met others from Get Your Guide for the tour (about 15 people total). Everyone was friendly and happy. There was someone from GetYourGuide there to greet each of the vans and make sure we had everything we needed. Next our guide Fabio (archeologist) and driver took us to Amalfi for a great lunch (not included in pricing) and then a ferry ride to Positano (also not included). After mini-tours/shopping of both these towns, we headed back to Rome. Fabio knows a lot about the region and history of the area including the amazing church in Amalfi and he happily shared his knowledge. He kept making sure we were happy and didn't need anything.
Our trip guide Fabio was fabulously educated in archeology of Italy as.well as playing in a cool international heavy metal band - so cool too. The driver was safe and did an outstanding job on the mountain roads. The guide Hector they picked for Pompei was the most experienced and only didnone tour a day - so much extra knowledge. The topper was the boat ride from Positano to Amalfi - outstanding scenery!
Wonderful trip, highly recommended! Everything was on time and smoothly organised. Pompeii is definitely a must see and in Positan we had an opportunity enjoy some stunning views! Safe drive through all serpantines!
The guide was very competent and humorous. His English was perfect and good to understand even for non-native speakers like us (Germans). A perfect tour through Naples! Strongly recommended!
Really great experience with very nice Giudes. Everything was perfectly explained and the end result was absolutely impressive. Very great recommendation!
