Enjoy a 4-day tour of the amazing Rift Valley. Discover the Lake Nakuru National Park and the beautiful Maasai Mara National Reserve, famous for the migration of the wildebeest. Take game-tours to see lions, giraffe, waterbucks, antelopes, and flamingoes.
What to Expect
Departing from Nairobi, this tour to Lake Nakuru National Park follows an all-tarmac road except inside the park, and takes in the amazing scenery of the rift valley. The park is full of birds and other wildlife such as giraffe, lions, waterbucks, and antelopes. Lucky visitors might even see the extremely rare white rhino.
This tour stops at Lake Nakuru National Park as well as the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Here there are no roads, so you may need to get out and help the driver if it’s rainy and the vehicle gets stuck! Enjoy mid-range accommodation in the Mara or make a request for luxury or budget accommodation.
Game drives are usually in the morning and evening, but sometimes you can leave after breakfast for a full-day game drive, giving you maximum exposure to the wild plains in the Mara – the 7th wonder of the world.
Drive to the Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy a morning game-viewing drive around the park followed by lunch at the lodge. Then an afternoon game-viewing drive, returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay (lunch and dinner included).
Drive across the floor of the Rift Valley and the Loita Plains to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. Then enjoy an afternoon game-viewing drive, returning to your lodge/tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay (breakfast, lunch, and dinner included).
Enjoy a full day in the Maasai Mara with early morning and afternoon game-viewing drives (breakfast, lunch, and dinner included).
