Full description
Discover a more authentic side to Mykonos on a unique half-day island tour. Head to the port of St. Ioannis to see the church and cell where the saint lived. Then, get a stunning view of the airport before going to the village of Ano Mera. Pass local farms to get a glimpse at island life. Learn more about the folk traditions on a guided tour of the Mykonian Spiti farm, where you will be invited to take part in traditional farming activities and can meet some of the animals. Explore the chambers of the Panagia Tourliani monastery in the village square, and join the locals at the open-air market. Enjoy a light lunch before leaving Ano Mera to discover hidden beaches, such as Kalo Livadi, Kalafati and Agia Anna. See some of the abandoned mines where lignite was extracted from the soil. Stroll the narrow streets of Maou, where a dam was constructed to meet the island's irrigation needs. Take a souvenir photo of Mykonos town from a popular spot before the end of the tour services.

My SIL and I were so very lucky. It seems that our tour bus was full even tho we had reserved in Feb or March I think. We were waiting at the port to be picked up when a man came and called my name. It seems the tour company sent him, Stratis, to take us on the same tour. We had a private tour. STRATIS was great and he was funny as well. Knew a lot of info. We went to the Mykonian farm which was great. We had an great salad and some Rika. They also have a small vineyard. 2 tour groups were there having a wine tasting. It was a great tour. Mykinos is a small island so not to long to tour around. Great job Stratis!!!! Thanks so much.

This was an excellent tour. We got to all the stops on time and our guide Dimitiris was very knowledgeable and explained each site in detail. It was nice to visit the villages and learn the history. I would recommend this to anyone who will be staying in the Island forat least 2 days. Dedicate a day for this tour, it will give you an overview of the Island.

Guide was very knowledgeable. He showed us a lot of the island and gave us the history. Very friendly and nice. It was a small group which made the experience that much better. So glad we chose this tour vs the cruise one as we saw more of the island.
