What people are saying about Museu do Vinho do Porto
Generally a good product, however, some of the actual benefits listed on the documentation received when collecting the Porto card differed from that advertised on Booking.com - instances included visits that were listed on Booking.com as free, you only received a discount and some discounts were less than advertised on Booking.com. It was obvious that the website was not being kept updated. Collection at Porto airport was also problematic - I purchased a 4-day pass (a 4-day travel card) which the representative initially refused to issue due to running out of stock, after much discussion I was issued with a 1-day travel card and a 3-day travel card - so was able to get about without having to visit the main tourism office in central Porto.
Both my wife and I cycle and thought this would be a greatest to see the city and take in the sights and atmosphere. We were not disappointed. Tiago our guide was helpful , knowledgeable and careful to ensure we stayed together. The whole experience was aimed at the non cyclist. No up hill climbs. Bikes were good hybrid type and well maintained. Highly recommended but those who struggle with any fitness will find this and Porto a challenge if they decide to walk.
A lot of seightseeing points of interests are in the historical center. When you visit the surroundings its just to recommand
