Amazing Half-Day Trekking Experience in Munnar I had an unforgettable experience on the half-day trekking tour in Munnar hosted by Wanders Munnar. The trek was a perfect blend of adventure and serenity, offering stunning views of the lush tea plantations, mist-covered hills, and the tranquil Munnar Valley. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating insights about the local flora, fauna, and Munnar's cultural history. The trek was well-organized, with clear instructions and a route suitable for all fitness levels. One of the highlights was reaching the viewpoint, where we were rewarded with panoramic views of the Western Ghats. The entire experience felt like a perfect escape into nature, making it a must-do for adventure enthusiasts visiting Munnar. Thank you, Wanders Munnar, for making this trekking tour so memorable. Chandru was a great guide. We went on a gorgeous, serene hike that took about 4hrs in total including breaks. I enjoyed the stop for tea and Chandru helped me take multiple photos. In terms of improvements, the coordination of the tour could be more organized. I was called by one person who then told me to contact Chandru. Up until my guide showed up at my hotel, I was confused where I would meet my guide because I hadn’t received confirmation despite multiple attempts to check. The person who first greeted me was not Chandru, adding to the confusion. Other than this initial hurdle, the rest of the experience was great.
Really excellent 1.5 hour short “hike and naturalist tour” through the tea plantation. Mari is an highly informative and interesting guide and we learned a huge amount about the tea, flora and fauna. This wall is so much more than the standard go a few meters into the plantation for a photo tour and I highly recommend. It was followed by an hour tour of the tea factory and the chance to buy some tea after a tasting. All in all, a nice short and easy morning tea hike!
The tour was well organized. Our driver Aneesh also took personal requests into account. Overall, the tour is recommended; you see a lot in a short time and always get good restaurant recommendations.
Great safari, discovery of lots of great places and viewpoints. As a bonus, we had a great guide.
