What People Are Saying About Munich

Great city, Great Guide, Excellent Trip--Ian was helpful & fun!

For many years I had been planning to make this trip and it was finally a dream come true. My only wish is that we would leave the train station earlier from Munich and perhaps get back a little later so we had more time to explore. I visited three churches, enjoyed the local food and had no time for Moztart's birthplace. Plan your time carefully! My guide was a blast. I enjoyed spending the day with him.

Super guide we had a very interesting time.

The guide was perfect. We had 3 h which went by so quickly because our guide was bringing history to us in a very good way.

Great one day tour of 2 of the great castles in Germany

Very good guild who provided great information on bus. We had enough time to see both castles and the small village. I would caution on the guides recommendation for lunch at the hotel. The meal is expensive and a limited menu. There are other options just down the street.

A classic trip - must do. Can't help the crowds. Big day.

Compared to 35 years ago the visits to these castles have changed from a winter wonderland wander of discovery to an example of German airport style crowd control. Still worth it

Really interesting tour of such a sad place

This was a really informative, interesting tour that I went on with my 17yr old son from New Zealand. He also found it very interesting and well done. The tour guide, Eric, was excellent. He had an amazing knowledge base and was very good in his presentation of the information. It was a very moving experience. We were pleased to see this important memorial and recognise that it is important for people to remember the past so that history is never repeated. One thing I found very hard though were people taking smiling selfies in front of the gate sign "Work sets you free" and the other sculpture. Photos of the memorial are fine, but really having a photo taken smiling in front of a place of death and misery seems very inappropriate.
