What People Are Saying About Munich
This was a really informative, interesting tour that I went on with my 17yr old son from New Zealand. He also found it very interesting and well done. The tour guide, Eric, was excellent. He had an amazing knowledge base and was very good in his presentation of the information. It was a very moving experience. We were pleased to see this important memorial and recognise that it is important for people to remember the past so that history is never repeated. One thing I found very hard though were people taking smiling selfies in front of the gate sign "Work sets you free" and the other sculpture. Photos of the memorial are fine, but really having a photo taken smiling in front of a place of death and misery seems very inappropriate.
This tour was extremely touching. Tour guide was open about this topic and had explained everthing in detail.
Thanks to Mat our tour guide. Very knowledgeable. Lots to process and well guided through.
Our Guide Matt had great knowledge about the subjekt and spoked with a clear english accent. He provided us with information not only about the camp in Dachau, he also gave each and one of us knowledge of the time before and after these horrible actions took place, which in some way gave us a deeper understanding.
Steve, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable on not only what took place at Dachau and the surrounding area but also on the whole of WWII. He did a fantastic job of providing insight at various points during the tour on the types of things that were taking place during certain periods of the camost history as well as in the day to day lives of the prisoners. I would highly recommend this tour.
