Mozarteum: Tours & Tickets
What people are saying about Mozarteum
Succinct way of seeing the highlights of Salzburg in one hour
We were hosted by Leo, who drove us, a total of 8 passengers, around to tell and show us the highlights of Salzburg. It was a good choice as it was raining on and off on the day of the tour and would be ideal for those who do not want to do a walking tour in the rain. The icing on the cake for me was being driven to see Leopoldskron Palace across from the lake. Although the weather was not great, what a brilliant view!! The weather didn't take anything away from it and it was worth seeing, if only for 5 mins. It was actually the attraction I was most interested in seeing, so I am pleased that I chose this tour as I did not want to make my own way there or spend hours on a tour just to get there. The fortress you can see from a distance as it sits high above the town. Meeting point was very easy to find.
The tour guides, the driver, the group are all great! However there are 3 minor hiccups: 1. The meeting point confirmed in the confirmation was incorrect, I was sent to a different booth; 2. The starting time of the tour confirmed in the confirmation was incorrect, 15 minutes delay; 3. The first part of the exclusion was confirmed in English but at the end it was conducted in bilingual: English and German.
It was fun. The guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. However, we didn't actually see the Cathedral and Castle. It's pointed out to you from a distance in the car!
We had the luxury of having the tour guide for our selves.
Our guide was extremely knowledgable and personable! Learned about all the major sights of Salzburg. Lovely time!!
It was very nice quick over view of Salzburg. The guid's explanation was very helpful to understand the city.
