We had an amazing experience on Mount Kenya! Both routes are very beautiful. We found Sirimon comfortable enough ud to hike up the mountain. It didn't feel like a steep route. We also found Narumoru comfortable to hike down the mountain. We were happy to do the hike in that order and not opposite. Narumoru seems a bit steep when hiking up the mountain. We had no training or experience with mountain-hiking before but we managed to get to Lenana Peak, thanks to our awesome guide, Elijah! He was considered, picked a really good cook (Juma) and porters, has 15 years experience and know the mountain very well, chatty, nature lover and very funny! Could be a good idea to bring medicine for height-sickness. We managed without but it would have been a bit more comfortable if we brought any. We got an experience for life with life-long memories! Thank you so much, Elijah! Take care man!

Amazing experience, definitely worthy the early morning wake up on the third day to watch the sunrise from the peak. Lots of wildlife on the first and last days, no charging outlets at the overnight spots so save your battery for pictures! Some packing notes: no need for a sleeping pad, you’ll have mattresses at each overnight location, no chance for a shower so bring body wipes, the weather is unpredictable so recommend a waterproof cover for your bag, bring a headlamp for the early morning summit, walking sticks are helpful but not a deal breaker if you don’t have one.

We had an amazing time. Our guide, Paul, was prompt, super friendly and kind, and was ready to take us anywhere we wanted. He was always ready to help us get the best views of the animals. He did a great job taking care of us. The accommodations and food were excellent. Olpejeta was breathtaking. Word of advice, pay the extra money to see the white rhinos. It was a pinnacle experience of our lives.

had the best day! Getting there took some time, but the ride was perfectly organized and I saw some great stuff on the way, the guys were so kind and welcoming, Jj chose the perfect pace instinctively. Even Lunch was great!

Amazing day trip. Everything was seamless from the pick up to drop off. My guide/driver was also keen to ensure that I saw as many of the big 5 as possible. Lunch at Serena was also good. Highly recommend.
