Pickup optional: The pickup from Kuta, Seminyak, Nusadua, Benoa, Jimbaran, Canggu is about 2 hours. It is 1.5 hours from Sanur, (Denpasar area), 1 hour from Ubud area, and 30 minutes from Kintamani. Pickup from Uluwatu, Padang Bai, Sidemen will be an extra charge of USD15 per car (2 ways) because it is the last from our provided pickup area. There is an extra charge USD20 per car for pickup from Baturiti, Bedugul.

I had a lovely trip. Apriandi was my driver and he was fantastic - he communicated with me in advance about pick up times and was ready waiting for me. He was very kind and patient waiting for me while I did the hike. Amazing service! For the Hike Jesen was my guide. Jesen was very attentive and helpful, taking time to explain the cultural significance of the Mount Batur and it’s history. Jensen made us a yummy breakfast at the top and took lots of photos! 10/10 for Apriandi and Jesen!

Meet at the beautiful Mt Batur Lounge following the area pick-up time from your hotel (depending on option selected). Head to the Kintamani region to hike your way up Mount Batur. This iconic, extremely-active volcano draws many visitors from around the world with its beauty and promise of adventure.

From the top, experience a scenic sunrise view and the green caldera around the volcano. Witness a thick blanket of darkness be replaced by glistening orange and gold rays, bursting from the silhouette of Mount Agung with the glassy untouched sheen of Lake Batur.

As your descent begins, explore three younger craters while taking in the amazing volcanic landscape. Have an option to visit a coffee plantation site to enjoy a delicious cup of local Luwak coffee before heading back to your hotel.

Before and after your hike, enjoy the exclusive use of Mt. Batur Lounge, the only villa-style lounge around with clean, modern toilets and a comfortable shower facility. After refreshing yourself in the showers, enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee in the lounge.
