Full description
Take a journey on this 3-hour food tour in Montreal. Indulge in a variety of cuisines, including Montreal famous dishes from the city's Mile End area. Meet your tour group at L'Église Saint-Enfant-Jésus du Mile End (the Church of Baby Jesus at Mile End). First stop is Boulangerie Guillaume bakery to enjoy some warm and savory Alsatian tarts baked Montreal style. You can also buy plenty of other delicious baked goods here. Next, head north along Saint Laurent Boulevard, where you will sit and relax with beer, wine, and most importantly, locally-made sausages. Little Italy awaits you close by. Enjoy stuffed gnocchi with tasty tomato sauce. Next door you will find freshly baked bagels from Fairmount Bagel. They are so delicious on their own that the best way to eat them is as is.  Walk down Fairmount Avenue, arriving on Avenue du Parc, where you will finally have poutine, the famous Canadian dish with fries, cheese curds and gravy. The Montreal version also has smoked meat! While here, it is recommend to pair your poutine with a Quebecois beer. End your tour with some light crepes and fruit for dessert.

Donna Lynn was very lovely but I felt as if we were being chased out of some of the places we visited and perhaps it was more for non Canadians who haven't seen or tried some of the items before. Would have loved to chat to some of the shop owners.

We LOVED this tour. It was outside of the area we were staying in Montreal and it was a hidden gem! We never would have found our way to this part of town had we not booked the tour. It was full of amazing treats and the guide was delightful! We ended up in a brewpub which we loved and stayed even after the tour had ended. I would recommend this tour without a doubt!!

Our guide knew Montreal and it’s History which added to the tour.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the 6 stops we made. All was totally delicious - along with the history of Montreal, Wow!!! We were worried because we also did Beyond the Bagel tour... No comparison. Like any large metropolitan city and the migration of immigrants... You cannot help but love and appreciate the diversity these neighborhoods bring to a city culturally, along with their cuisines.
