What people are saying about Montjuic Castle

Overall rating

4.4
(5,633 reviews)

I did a lot of research beforehand to make sure that this was the most advantageous option. The card offers enough variety of cultural museums that I would never go to on my own. However, the major sights are not included, such as La Sagrada Familia, Park Guëll... If you were to visit Montjuïc, you can visit almost everything 'for free' with the card. Definitely worth setting aside a day for this (Montjuïc Castle, Olympic & Sports Museum, Jardi Botanic, Museu Nacional d'art de Catalunya). Finally, your transport card is included in your purchase, I was worried whether the card also included transport to and from the airport. It is the HolaBarcelona transport card, so transport to and from the airport is included. What was not entirely clear, however, is the Montjuïc cable car. This is not included here and costs €10-11 for a single ride back to the city. While the return (there and back) costs around €16, so check this in advance.

Our guide Katty was great. Very informative. However, the magic fountain is not working and the site said it was part of the tour. We saw it, but no light show falsely advertised

amazing experience, the cable car ride itself is enjoyable andneven on a Sunday the wait was minimal. Montjuìc is a must see 👍

You can simply buy the tickets at the cable car. You have to wait just as long as with pre-booked tickets

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being above the city in a spacious clean cable car!
