Overlooking the glistening Caribbean Sea, lay the plains that were once known as the Rose Hall Sugar Estate, upon which, sits the legendary Rose Hall Great House.
Long in ruins, the house has now been restored to its former glory. This restored Georgian mansion’s decorated with silk wallpaper printed with palms and birds, ornamented with chandeliers, furnished with mostly European antiques, and features a downstairs bar and restaurant – Annie’s Pub.
Said to be the greatest of Jamaican great houses, the Rose Hall Great House has a story with all the elements needed to complete an intriguing novel.
Come learn of the former mistress of the plantation, who had devilish schemes to rid herself of her husbands and several slave lovers. “The White Witch of Rose Hall” has fascinated generations, and even today, there are those who claim sightings of Annie passing through the Great House.
