Inaugurated in 1599, when Capuchin monks discovered that their catacombs contained a mysterious preservative that could mummify the dead, the goal of the site is to reflect on the fragility of life and consider the pettiness of worldly goods. Umberto was fantastic. Very informed about the Mafia, Corleone and other towns. He recommended a few restaurants, as well as some great olive oil to purchase, even exchanged recipes with me. It was a great tour, another one I can scratch off my bucket list.

Monreale is close to Palermo, it is worth going to see its monastery. And Cefalu, a wonderful charming town. The driver was very kind and attentive.

So much fun! The guides also took some excellent pictures and videos of us which they then shred. Super nice bonus! Nothing to improve

It wasreally fun in the city, mountains and seaside. Great experience, happy face everywhere. We fitted in….2.05 meters 😀

Everything well organized, maybe I would add half an hour more for Monreale
