I dreamt about this type of tour most of my adult life and it did not let me down. Our tour guide, Olga, was excellent! She really knows her stuff. It was so exciting to go to the Parmesan cheese producer and experience how they actually make the KING of cheese daily by hand. And walking into the cheese vault was breath taking! We also went to a small prosciutto producer and got to eat the best prosciutto that I have ever tasted in my life! The Balsamic vinegar producer was equally interesting. Again, the best I have ever tasted! So special they only produce 110 liters a year: well worth waiting for! The Ferrari Museum was interesting, but I'm not a car nut, so another food producer would have made me happier. We finished the day with a fantastic meal at a local restaurant: everything beautifully prepared and presented, six courses, hand made pastas, wine. What more can I say?!?

Highly recommended tour. You will have lots of fun. You will get outside the city and visit local producers with rich history and you will sample their production. You will try top quality menu specialities. Also visit the Ferrari museum. Get a spare battery for your cameras as you are going to need it. Very well spent day. I was charged with so much fun and positive memories. The tour guide is top professional with rich experience in this field and gives a lot of information, not to mention the sense of humor! The tour is very suitable for families with children and student groups as it is very educational and informative. It is a must for any food lover who try to taste the local cuisine. I recommend to bring a jacket or another top as you are going to enter some cold temperature controlled rooms.

Andrea and Ricardo put on a fantastic tour full of detail and fun. From pickup to drop off, the tour was well planned and executed. Even though we had plenty of great food along the way, lunch was a full indulgence in the unique food of the Emilia Romagna. Finally, if price is any issue, this tour cannot be beat compared to its competition.
