Full description
Explore Vulcano, Panarea, and Stromboli, three of the most beautiful islands of the Aeolian Islands in just one day. At each island, enjoy free time and a variety of things to do and see. Take in scenic views from the boat as you travel from island to island within this volcanic archipelago. Depart from Milazzo's port and travel towards the island of Vulcano. The journey time is around 1 hour and 10 minutes by boat. Arrive at the Vulcano Port and explore the island at your own pace. Take a therapeutic bath in the thermal waters and the sulfur muds at Baia Levante (Levante Bay). Walk on a black beach of volcanic sand or swim at Baia Ponente (Ponente Bay). If you are feeling extra adventurous, climb to the Gran Cratere della Fossa (Great Crater of the Fossa), an active volcano, though currently dormant. From the summit, enjoy a breathtaking view of all the islands in the area. From Vulcano, travel to the smallest of the Aeolian Islands, Panarea. After sailing for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, arrive at the port of San Pietro and have free time to visit the small seaside village. Optionally, with a local taxi you can reach the island’s ancient prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese and the bay of Cala Junco, where you’ll be dazzled by the blue of crystal-clear water. Later, depart from Panarea to Stromboli. Pass by the islets of Basiluzzo, Spinazzola, Lisca Bianca, Lisca Nera, Dattilo, and Bottaro. Reach the port of Stromboli, one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Visit Piazza San Vincenzo to get a panoramic view of Strombolicchio, a volcanic sea stack with a picturesque lighthouse on its summit. Finally, make your way back to the port of Milazzo. Enjoy spectacular views of Sciara del Fuoco and the crater’s eruptions from the sea on the way back.

Excellent organization and very friendly staff. One of the few tours that includes Vulcano and Stromboli in the same excursion, truly essential destinations for those who want to know the Aeolian Islands. Considering that Panarea (second stage) is a rather boring parenthesis: two hours of rest are too many. Recommend riddino sightseeing bus tour to Vulcano.

The whole trip was very well organised. Only the time you get on the different islands could be classified differently. On Vulcano you get 2 hours, this was very close for us to get up the volcano, once we were at the top, we had to return very quickly. You get 2 hours on Panarea, but there is hardly anything to do there. The only beach on the island is overgrown by tourists, so I wouldn't want to spend 2 hours here. On Stromboli, time itself is also limited, but for good reason. At sunset we sail around the island so we can see the eruptions, this is very spectacular!

The organization was there. The visit time of the three islands is two hours. So you have to plan ahead and select what you want to see / do. I highly recommend the ascent of the Volcano volcano! The return time by boat, not mentioned in the description, is around 11 p.m. The return was therefore long (+/- 2h30). But we recommend this excursion. Very good value for money !!
