Beautiful landscapes I state that the weather was beautiful and therefore the sun combined with the snow made the trip beautiful. The trip with the Diavolezza cable car to the refuge at 2979m was worth it even if the price of the tickets is a bit out of the average. The only thing we did not like and the price of water 5.50 € per half liter too high. For everything else ok

The Bernina train offers very suggestive landscapes. The last stop is St. Moritz, a chic resort in Switzerland overlooking a beautiful lake. However for what I spent I expected to travel comfortably sitting. Unfortunately it seemed to be on the weekends of July on the return from Riccione. The place was not there for everyone and on our return we were on our feet. Considering that the journey lasts 2 hours on the outward journey and 2 hours and 40 min on the return journey, I expected better organization on the part of the Swiss trains and this organization. Two guys in front of us took the tickets on the spot and spent less than us !! I don't know if it makes a lot of sense to book them from home also because when you are at the station pulling the queue you have to do it anyway (it took us an hour)

Definitely interesting experience and to be repeated, perhaps extending it to the section towards Chur. Go to the station early and try to find a place on the right side of the train departing from Tirano because the view of the landscapes is better from that side. If you have time recommended lunch at Alpe GRUM.
