We had an amazing time with our guide, Abe, and driver Mohammad. Abe, who is not typically a guide was actually auditing the trip to ensure it met Ando's standards, and allowed us to have a private tour as my best friend Thomas and I were the only people who had booked the trip for those days. This transformed our tour into a private tour allowing us amazing opportunities. On nearly any topic we found Abe to be knowledgeable, eloquent and honest. Discussions ranged from the state of education, details on architecture and construction, the langua franca, geopolitics, agriculture, the ancient history of the Berber people and everywhere in between. The nights out in the desert were wonderful. The camel ride on the second trip to the dunes is about two or two and a half hours each way, and while it is beautiful it is very cold, which seems intuitively obvious now, but I was not prepared for. Abe generously lent me his coat, which eased the trip considerably, but 5:30AM is frigid.
We had Ana amZing time! We weren’t sure what to expect because this tour had no reviews but we are so happy we went with it! Great people , amazing scenery! Not sure how this is different compared to other tours considering it is called “Instagram journey” but we felt it took us to all the main tourist sights we wanted to see and everything just went very smoothly! Be prepared lunch and tips for tour guides are not included in this so make sure to bring extra cash around 15/20 euro a day .
Excellent 4 day trip with our driver Ismail. Everything was very well organized, went as planned. Ismail drove us safely while being discreet and sharing his knowledge of the area. Our children aged 12, 15 and 17 were delighted. The two nights in the camps were amazing. The dunes of Merzouga but also the breathtaking landscapes throughout the trip. Many very interesting visits along the way. We recommend ! Thanks Ismail
