What to Expect
Begin your trip with a pick-up service from your hotel in Merida, then go directly to visit the mysterious Grottos of Tzabnah with 13 cenotes. Feel the adventure and the excitement as you enter the enigmatic Mayan underworld through small and dark passageways. You'll have the opportunity to swim in one underground cenote and admire the cavern formations with stalactites and stalagmites.
After that, visit Mayapan, the last capital of the ancient Mayan culture during the post-classic period. Take pictures of the antique Mayan constructions and admire their architectural style with similar shapes to the observatory and Kukulkan Pyramid in Chichen Itza.
Continue on to the colonial town of Mani where you'll visit the monastery of Arcangel San Miguel. This colonial building is more than 400 years old and is an important site in the culture and religion of the Yucatan.
