What People Are Saying About Memphis
Admittedly we were not avid Elvis fans prior to our family visit to Graceland... That's changed; he was a pioneer of his day and the tour here is an excellent way to find out how he did it. Visitors are not permitted upstairs in the mansion itself but there's plenty to see. downstairs and in the various exhibitions across the road The Lisa Marie airplane is worth seeing too. Parking is $10 extra. All well very organised. Recommended.
fabulous original setting , all his rewards, and lovely meditation garden. Car collection is a must see. Book on line to save time in lineups at ticketing area.
Would recommend it to everyone who ever heard, saw, or knew of the one and only Elvis.
It was fun to look at all the rooms in the mansion. I loved how it was a self guided audio tour so you could go at your pace and take your time looking at all of the rooms.
Expecting Graceland to be pretty hokey, we were pleasantly surprised. Though definitely a tourist attraction to the fullest extent, his home is a window into the man and his life. It feels just like it must have been and is understandable for the time, the wealth and the dreams of Elvis. Glad we went!
