Mellieha Bay

Enjoy a cruise around Malta on this trip from Sliema. Cruise to Comino Island, see the famous Blue Lagoon, and swim in the turquoise waters. Board your ferry in Sliema and cruise north. Sail past Sliema Promenade and through St. Julian's Bay, St. George's Bay, and Qawra Bay. Admire St. Paul's Island as you cruise through the pristine St. Paul's Bay and continue through Mellieha Bay to reach Mgarr Harbour in Gozo for a quick photo stop. Depending on the option you book, disembark in Gozo and spend some time admiring the island. Reboard and head to Comino's Crystal Lagoon area and St. Nicholas Bay, spend about 45 minutes in the bay swimming and snorkeling before continuing on to the Blue Lagoon. *Stop at St. Nicholas Bay/Crystal Lagoon area is seasonal from May - October. November - April boat stops at Blue Lagoon only. Enjoy 3.5 hours of free time at the Blue Lagoon. Sunbathe at the beach, swim or snorkel with the fish, or explore the island. On your return to Sliema, we stop to admire and take photos of the beautiful caves of Comino.

We will stop in 2-3 different locations. The first stop will be the Blue Lagoon. The boat will drop anchor away from the crowds so that you can experience the famous turquoise water peacefully. The stops after the Blue Lagoon depend on the weather/sea conditions. A few of our possible stops are: 1. Crystal Lagoon, surrounded by steep, dramatic cliffs. Its crystal clear waters are much deeper than the Blue Lagoon, making the area fantastic for snorkelling and swimming in and around the caves. During this stop, you can enjoy an optional barbecue. 2. Anchor Bay to view the film set of Popeye’s Village, tucked away in a charming bay. Other stops that could be made include Mellieha Bay, Golden Bay, GHajn Tuffieha Bay, Ramla Bay, Imgiebah Bay, or Half Rock. All of these locations are great for snorkelling and swimming. Back on the boat, listen to dance music, and buy cocktails at the bar. If you have selected the afternoon option, relax and watch the sunset on the horizon. After a wonderful day at sea, begin the journey back to Bugibba.

Your cruise departs from Mellieha Bay in the morning and departs for the island of Gozo as your first stop. Spend a couple of hours exploring the island. Opt for a private tour or an open-top bus tour (at your own expense) to make the most of your time on the island. Have the chance to visit the island's highlights including Victoria City and the old citadel, the Blue Hole, the Inland Sea, Fungus Rock, and Ta’ Pinu Cathedral which Pope John Paul the Second visited. Following your time on Gozo head to the Blue Lagoon for a swimming break. Then make your way back to Malta, visiting the Crystal Lagoon, Poppy's Caves, and Lovers Caves on the way. The afternoon Boat trips is made as a Blue lagoon sunset cruise and we do not stop in gozo

Your tour begins from the town of Bugibba at 10:30 AM (boarding closes at 10 AM). Cruise past St. Paul's Island, Mellieha Bay, and Smuggler's Cove Cave on your way to Gozo. First stop is Gozo, Guests will be greeted by our colleagues to board the minibus. Our destination is Victoria, the capital city, where visitors can take photos and admire the historical sights. The market in Gozo offers an opportunity to purchase souvenirs, including fridge magnets and other items. In the afternoon, head to Comino Island, where you can explore, swim near the boat or take a walk along one of the island's white sandy beaches. Head to the famous Blue Lagoon where you can snorkel in crystal-clear waters.Later, while cruising back to Bugibba, enter the Santa Maria caves and see the “Elephants Head”, a truly amazing rock formation. Return back to port at 17:00

Situated between Malta and Gozo, the smaller island of Comino is a paradise for swimmers, snorkelers, divers, and ramblers. At only 3.5 square kilometres, Comino Island is virtually uninhabited. You will depart from Sliema ferries in the morning and cruise to the island of Comino, passing by the Sliema promenade, St. Julian's Bay, St. George's Bay, St. Paul's Bay, St. Paul's Island, and Mellieha Bay. Get ready to be amazed by the turquoise, crystal-clear waters of the famous Blue Lagoon! From June until October (weather permitting), a stop of approximately 45 minutes at the Crystal Lagoon is also included. The Crystal Lagoon is a perfect spot for divers and snorkelers, and it is one of the nicest and most sheltered lagoons Malta has to offer. Take a refreshing dip and explore the amazing sea caves located within this stunning lagoon. With no cars or urban areas, the island of Comino is also worth visiting during the winter and autumn, making it an excellent destination for hikers and photo enthusiasts. It provides many hiking trails leading to St. Mary's Chapel, St. Mary's Watch Tower, and St. Mary's Battery.

Embark on our Exhilarating Quad Bike Tour, an unforgettable journey through Mellieha's scenic landscapes on our Quad Bike Tour. After being picked up by your driver from your hotel, or the designated meeting point, enjoy the ride to the Quad Base. When you arrive, your experienced guide will provide you with a 10-minute briefing on operating the Quad and safety instructions. We get our helmets and start our Quad Bike exploration of the North of Malta, our first stop is Selmun followed by Fort Campbell, where introductory remarks about the destination are given and an overview of the itinerary. En route to Popeye Village we proceed to Landscape Viewpoint - Mellieha, on the eastern border of the Majjistral Nature and History Park. Situated among the fields on a hill, it is on the road connecting the town of Mellieha with the village of Manikata & Popeye Village. From here there is a wonderful view of the entire plateau, the farmlands around the village of Manikata and the north-west coast of Malta. We provide insights on the west and east coastal areas from Upper Popeye Village and the Popeye Village set. We take Triq tal-Prajjet which runs down to Anchor Bay and Upper Popeye Village. Two designated photo stops. We leave Popeye Village and travel through Mellieha Bay to the Red Tower, featuring insights about the Red Tower and onward journey to the radar station for capturing views of Gozo and Comino. Ready for a swim in the blue Mediterranean waters of Armier Bay? Weather permitting we have a 1 hour break for swimming (optional) so don't forget your bathing suit and a towel if you'd like to take a dip. Refreshments are also available from here. At around noon we proceed to White Tower Bay, followed by Kuncizzjoni Immakulata (Chapel of Immaculate Conception of Our Lady), l-Ahrax tal-Mellieha which is at the at the edge of the cliffs. Our final lap of the journey before returning to base we drive thru Mellieha Village Centre and stop a while in the Mellieha Village Square. Back to Base we go. After the excursion, your driver will take you back to your hotel or the initial meeting point.
