Full description
Take a full-day tour to Phillip Island from Melbourne and spend an afternoon and evening surrounded by an array of wildlife, including Australia's largest fur seal colony, cuddly koalas, and more. You will go to the Koala Conservation Center to pet and feed kangaroos and wallabies, as well as meet and interact with a host of farm animals. Get your photo taken holding a koala, and go inside enclosures where the animal keepers will make introductions.  View the spectacular coastal scenery at the Nobbies, 2 rocky outcrops abundant in marine life. From the walkways, you can sometimes catch a glimpse of Australia's largest population of fur seals along the rugged coastline. Browse the educational Phillip Island Visitors Information Centre to learn about the little penguins of the stunning island.  Then, watch the lovable birds as they battle the surf and waddle their way to their dune burrows. Hear about the environmental and conservation methods that are initiated to ensure the wildlife and vulnerable geology of Phillip Island remains protected. Stay to see the penguins as they return to their nests from their daily fishing expeditions and greet their young families back onshore. Marvel at the powerful coastline of the Southern Ocean, with its clean, sandy beaches and rocky shores. During the summer season, there will be time for dinner at the seaside town of Cowes or the Penguin Parade Café before returning to Melbourne.

He took me to see the animals first, took a picture with the koala and was able to feed the kangaroo. All the koalas were sleeping, but it was very cute. In other tours, animal interaction was about 30 minutes to an hour, but on this tour I was able to stay for about an hour and a half, so I enjoyed it. Then stop by the beach and have dinner at 5am. It was too early and I was not hungry, but I can't help it. The penguin parade was seen in the underground seats. In fact, the tour reservation was made the day before, and the seat upgrade was requested one hour before departure, but I was lucky. I participated in late November and warmed up on a warm day. It looks pretty cold outside. However, during the tour, the staff told me that I could see it at the Penguin Plus seat. On the other hand, the basement seat is a look up? To see. The world's smallest little penguin walking was really cute! I would like to participate again on the next tour with great satisfaction!

It was great! I enjoyed the whole day, the stops at the beaches was a nice surprise. The bus driver was a really friendly chap. But in a perfect world the penguin place would’ve let in less people, I’d gladly paid more if it meant it would be less crowded.
